Tom Lischak is Founder & CEO of CENTURY 21 Bridgeway Commercial, which he started in 2014 to serve the commercial real estate needs of businesses throughout Central New York. The company is based in Syracuse, where he was born and raised. His commercial real estate career began in 2007 after more than three decades in the automotive business selling cars, managing car dealerships and owning a Goodyear tire and service center. Operating a businesses, along with the inherent tenacity it takes to succeed in sales and sales management was the perfect foundation for Tom to bring to the real estate industry. When Tom entered the commercial real estate he took it seriously, especially in light of his timing - at the onset of the Great Recession. Shortly after becoming a real estate professional and with the recognition that knowledge is an essential element to every industry, he earned the premier Certified Commercial Investment Members ( CCIM ) designation. Driven to succeed again and passionate about his new career, Tom worked hard and by 2013 was recognized as the Sales Agent of The Year at the brokerage firm where he got his start.Prior to commercial real estate, he opened, and later purchased, AutoMaster Tire and Service Center in Syracuse, which is a Goodyear Gemini franchise. Earlier, he held an Executive Management position with Allstar Motor Care in Saratoga Springs and previously managed numerous car dealerships in the Syracuse area. He also was a commercial property owner in association with the Goodyear store, which he later redeveloped into a multi-tenanted commercial property.In 2020 and after the coronavirus pandemic seized the world, Tom recognized the strategic advantages of joining NAI Global - a top 10 commercial real estate services firm worldwide, and benefit from its platform and business model.Tom draws many parallels from the automotive business and commercial real estate services. They both require hard work, attentive listening skills and dedication to customer service. The greatest value he brings to running his own brokerage practice are his leadership skills and leading his associates by example, a high degree of integrity that he learned was a key to success in his first career, helping others, and teaching his agents how to understand the motivations of their clients so they can achieve the best results for them. Tom has experience as a landlord and as a tenant and he brings those experiences with him to work every day.Tom resides in Manlius, NY with his wife.
