Michael Miedler
Michael Miedler was appointed president and chief executive officer for Century 21 Real Estate LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY) in January 2019. In his new role, Miedler leads the iconic C21® brand and the organization’s approximately 9,400 independently owned and operated offices and more than 127,000 independent sales professionals in 80 countries and territories worldwide.
Miedler brings to this role more than 20 years of experience with the CENTURY 21® brand. He is a leader in residential and commercial real estate franchising, brokerage, and management, and understands the important role the international markets play in expanding the brand and the System’s growth opportunities.
In his most recent position, Miedler served as global chief growth officer (CGO) of Century 21 Real Estate LLC. In this role, he led the Franchise Sales team, where his focus was on capturing share in emerging and diverse markets. His relentless contributions to the brand throughout his tenure have often become featured milestones in the CENTURY 21 timeline, having set – and broken – records, which include closing some of the largest franchise deals in the history of the brand. His work as CGO also included enhancing and implementing the C21® Recruiting Platform.
Prior to serving as CGO, Miedler served as senior vice president with Century 21 Real Estate LLC, where he oversaw brand development and market share strategy in the U.S., advising new and existing real estate businesses on growth strategies, business planning and structuring transactions with an emphasis on growth for CENTURY 21® affiliates through development of market share and top- and bottom-line revenue.
Prior to his tenure at Century 21 Real Estate LLC, Miedler was managing director for ONCOR International, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate networks where he facilitated commercial real estate transactions across the U.S. and around the globe.
Miedler has served as a volunteer to the Junior Achievement program in New Jersey, and as an executive sponsor of the Realogy NextGen employee resource group. He is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Criminal Justice and Accounting.
